Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Negotiation & Management

Build strong supplier relationships and evaluate performance regularly.
Ensure reliable supply and alignment with business requirements.
Procurement Planning
Forecast stock needs based on sales trends, seasonality, and promotions.
Prevent overstocking or stockouts through timely ordering.
Monitor lead times and vendor reliability.
Commercial Intelligence
Stay informed about market trends, competitor prices, and emerging opportunities.
Recommend pricing adjustments and margin strategies.
Identify high-margin or private-label categories for growth.
Stock & Cost Optimisation
Maintain procurement KPIs: cost savings, delivery accuracy, supplier performance.
Analyse product velocity and recommend adjustments to order cycles.
Ensure products meet quality, price, and compliance standards.
Reporting & Collaboration
Provide commercial insights to the finance and commercial teams.
Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier files.
Report monthly on procurement performance and strategic wins.
